Kameno Municipality is located on 354.7 sq . km area in the generous Burgas lowland and it includes 11 populated places .
The territory of the municipality spreads from the Mandra lake to the east up to the uplands of Kara bair to the west . Agriculture is one of the main fields in the municipality . The grain production is a priority , which takes 46% from the agricultural land .
The municipality includes 13 populated places – the municipal center town of Kameno and the villages Krastina , Vinarsko , Vratitsa , Troyanovo , Zhelyazovo , Rusokastro , Livada , Trastikovo , Konstantinovo , Polski izvor , Cherni vrah , Svoboda .

A center of culture , traditions and alert spirit of local residents is the library club “ Education ”. It was established in 1927 and by decision of the Burgas District Court it is registered in the register of non - profit associations for indefinite period of existence together with branches in the villages of Krastina , Vinarsko , Troyanovo , Rusokastro , Konstantinovo , Trastikovo , Polski izvor , Livada . It is awarded the order of “ Cyril and Methody ”.

The territory is located in the plain part of Southeastern Bulgaria , along the lower course of Aytoska River . Its altitude is from 20 to 45 meters .
The Burgas lowlands , in which Kameno municipality is located , are characterized as a separate climatic region in the Black sea climatic sub-area in the system of continental-Mediterranean climatic area . Typical for the region are lasting and soft summer and low quantity of summer rains .
The soils on the territory are mainly leached chernozem pitch and at lower extent - alluvial - meadow and sandy - clayed . |
